The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for GM Gen-V/VI Big Block V8 engines offers multi-layer stainless sealing for high-output builds. This .120" compressed thickness and 4.375" bore is supplied to seal aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-cast-iron joints without sealants. Embossed outer layers are coated both sides with Viton for resistance to 250°C (482°F). The central uncoated shim layer can be varied for thickness needs while improving load distribution and limiting bore distortion.
