The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for GM Gen-V/VI Big Block V8 engines is a multi-layer steel gasket built for demanding sealing needs. This .089" compressed thickness with a 4.375" bore provides reliable sealing without additional sealants. Outer embossed stainless layers feature Viton coating on both sides for heat resistance to 250°C (482°F). The uncoated stainless shim layer allows thickness tuning, evens load distribution and reduces bore distortion under clamp load.
