This Cometic .070" MLS cylinder head gasket is specified for GM LS Gen-3/4 small block V8 engines with a 4.160" bore and uses HP shim technology to increase clamp load around the combustion chamber for better sealability. The multi-layer steel design combines embossed AMP-coated layers with uncoated stainless steel. The gasket conforms load distribution, requires less clamp load to seal, and is coated on both sides with Viton to improve sealing longevity.
