Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for GM LS Gen-3/4 small-block V8 engines with a 4.130-inch bore and 0.056-inch compressed thickness. The gasket combines embossed stainless steel layers with Viton-coated outer faces to seal high-output engines without sealants. An uncoated center shim enables thickness variation; MLS design evens clamp load distribution, tolerates aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-iron shearing, reduces clamp load needs and helps minimize bore distortion. Viton coating resists heat to 250°C (482°F).
