The Cometic MLS head gasket for BMW S65B40 4.0L (94mm bore) is a multi-layer stainless steel gasket with embossed outer layers coated in Viton rubber for heat resistance up to 250°C (482°F). The construction includes uncoated stainless center layers that can be varied for thickness and provides improved sealing performance and load distribution across the sealing area. MLS design minimizes clamp load and resists corrosion in demanding sealing environments.
