The Cometic MLS head gasket for Chrysler DPS2 Pro Stock engines has a 4.750" bore and .045" compressed thickness, formed from multiple embossed stainless steel layers. Outer faces use a Viton rubber coating on both sides to resist corrosion and tolerate severe sealing loads to 250°C (482°F). A central uncoated shim layer allows thickness variation while the MLS construction lowers clamp load and helps minimize bore distortion.
