This Cometic multi-layer steel (MLS) head gasket is specified for Subaru EJ255 and EJ257 turbo engines with a 101mm bore and .040" thickness. Constructed from three to five stainless steel layers, the embossed outer layers are coated with heat-resistant Viton to 250°C, while an uncoated stainless shim layer helps control thickness.
