This Cometic .036" MLS head gasket is specified for Subaru EJ255 (2003–2011) and EJ257 (2004–2010) turbo applications with a 101mm bore. The MLS construction uses multiple stainless steel layers for strength and rebound, with embossed outer layers coated in Viton for heat resistance up to 250°C (482°F). The MLX design includes an integrated stopper layer to improve combustion chamber sealing under demanding conditions.
