This Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket fits Porsche 47-series and M31 engine variants with an 88mm bore and about 0.092" compressed thickness. It uses embossed stainless steel outer layers coated in Viton and a center stainless shim to allow thickness variation. The MLS construction seals without additional sealants, tolerates mixed head/block interfaces and helps reduce required clamp load and bore distortion.
