The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for TVR Speed Six (96.5mm bore) features multi-layer stainless steel construction with a compressed operating thickness of 0.140in. It seals high-output engines without sealants and fits aluminum heads to aluminum or cast-iron blocks. Embossed outer layers are coated with Viton and AMP for heat and chemical resistance while the center shim is uncoated stainless steel to allow thickness tuning. The multi-layer design rebounds under load, resists corrosion, reduces clamp load needs, limits bore distortion and evens load distribution across the sealing area.
