The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for TVR Speed Six (96.5mm bore) uses multi-layer stainless steel construction with a compressed operating thickness of 0.080in. It seals high-output engines without sealants and works for aluminum heads mated to aluminum or cast-iron blocks. Embossed outer layers are coated with Viton and AMP for heat and chemical resistance while an uncoated center shim allows thickness changes. Multiple layers give rebound and corrosion resistance, reduce clamp-load needs, limit bore distortion and improve load distribution across the sealing area.
