Cometic's MLS head gasket for Nissan VQ30/VQ35 V6 engines is a left-side, 96mm bore, .051-inch compressed-thickness multi-layer steel gasket for 2002 and up applications. It provides OEM-level sealing without the need for sealants and is suitable for aluminum head-to-block and aluminum-to-cast-iron combinations. The gasket uses multiple embossed stainless steel layers with outer Viton coating for heat and corrosion resistance; a central uncoated shim allows thickness variation to improve load distribution and reduce bore distortion.
