The Cometic MLS head gasket for Subaru EJ25 series (100 mm bore) fits EJ25D, EJ251, EJ252, EJ253/EJ255 Version 1 and 2004–2006 EJ257 with a .092" MLS construction to provide durable sealing without sealants. Embossed outer layers are Viton-coated to withstand heat and harsh sealing conditions; an uncoated stainless shim layer controls thickness, rebounds under load and helps distribute clamp load to limit bore distortion and resist corrosion.
