The Cometic MLS head gasket for Subaru EJ25 series (100 mm bore) fits EJ25D, EJ251, EJ252, EJ253/EJ255 Version 1 and 2004–2006 EJ257 with a .084" MLS construction to provide dependable sealing without sealants. Embossed outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton for heat resistance; an uncoated stainless shim layer controls thickness, rebounds under load and helps spread clamp force to minimize bore distortion and resist corrosion.
