Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for Opel C16XE/X16XE/X16XEL/Y16XE engines supplies a .092-inch multi-layer steel seal for an 82mm bore. Built as a multi-layer stainless steel gasket, the design uses three to five embossed layers and a central uncoated shim layer to meet varied load and surface conditions. Outer layers are coated both sides with Viton rubber rated to 250°C (482°F) to resist heat and corrosion.
