Cometic's .036" MLS head gasket for Opel C16XE/X16XE/X16XEL/Y16XE features three to five stainless steel layers with embossed, Viton‑coated outer surfaces. The stainless construction improves strength, rebound and corrosion resistance while the Viton coating endures high temperatures and varied sealing environments. MLS design offers consistent sealing across aluminum and cast iron mating surfaces without additional sealants.
