Cometic's MLS head gasket for Mitsubishi 4G63/4G63T engines is a .047" multi-layer steel gasket with an 87mm bore for DOHC applications, covering many Eclipse, Galant and Lancer installations through early Evo III but excluding Evo IV–IX. Built from three to five stainless steel layers with embossed outer layers coated in Viton, it uses AMP and uncoated steel layers for improved sealing and heat resistance to 250°C (482°F).
