Cometic’s MLS head gasket for Mitsubishi 4G63/4G63T engines is a multi-layer steel gasket with embossed outer layers coated in Viton and a central uncoated stainless shim. At a compressed thickness of 0.036" for an 87mm bore, it requires no sealants and is suitable for aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast-iron combinations. It’s specified for Eclipse, Galant and Lancer applications through Evo III.
