The Cometic MLS head gasket (.027" compressed) is made for Mitsubishi 4G63/4G63T 87mm bore engines used through early EVO models (EVO I–III). Its multi-layer steel construction with embossed outer layers coated in Viton provides heat resistance and corrosion protection, while an uncoated stainless shim layer controls thickness. MLS design offers improved sealing for aluminum head-to-block combinations and does not require sealants, making it suitable for high-output applications.
