The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for Peugeot XU9J4, XU9J4Z and XU10J2/XU10J4 engines (86.5mm bore, 0.051in compressed operating thickness) is built from multiple stainless-steel layers. Outer embossed layers are coated with Viton rubber for heat resistance to 250°C (482°F). MLS construction allows use between aluminum heads and aluminum or cast-iron blocks, reduces clamp load and improves sealing under heavy loads.
