Cometic MLX head gasket for Ford 2.3L EcoBoost (89mm bore, .036") fits 2016–2018 Focus RS and certain 2020–2023 Mustang applications as specified. The MLX design uses HP shim technology to increase clamp load around the combustion chamber and an integrated stopper layer for improved combustion sealing. Embossed outer layers are coated with Viton and the gasket improves clamp distribution without raising bore distortion.
