This Cometic MLX head gasket is specified for 2014-and-newer GM LT1 6.2L Gen V small-block V8 engines with a 4.200" bore and .051" thickness. The MLX design uses an integrated stopper layer for combustion sealing and embossed outer layers coated with Viton to improve sealing and corrosion resistance. It’s intended for high-output engines requiring durable MLS sealing without additional sealants.
