The QA1 left-hand jam nut kit (3/8-24) contains six aluminum jam nuts with a 9/16" hex and 7/32" face width, intended to lock coarser left-hand threaded fasteners and hold adjustments in place. Each jam nut bears against a companion nut or rod to prevent loosening. QA1 offers these in steel or aluminum, with standard and metric sizing and optional clear-anodized finishes for aluminum.
