The QA1 left-hand jam nut kit (5/16-24) includes six aluminum jam nuts with a 1/2" hex and 3/16" face width, intended to lock medium-thread left-hand fasteners and maintain adjustment settings. Each nut bears against a companion nut or rod to prevent loosening. QA1 provides these in steel or aluminum, with standard and metric choices and optional clear-anodized finishes for aluminum.
