The Edelbrock guide plate is a stepped pushrod guide made from high‑grade alloy steel hardened to 60 Rockwell C. Supplied as a set of eight for Ford applications, the stepped design supports pushrods closer to the rocker arms for improved stability and reduced lateral movement. Use these plates during valvetrain service to restore correct pushrod geometry and limit wear.
