The Edelbrock guide plate is a stepped pushrod guide made from high‑grade alloy steel hardened to 60 Rockwell C. Sold as a set of eight for small‑block Chevy (SBC) applications, the plates support pushrods nearer the rocker arms to stabilize them and reduce side loading. Fit them during valve train rebuilds or maintenance to improve alignment and prolong rocker and pushrod life.
