The Edelbrock exhaust gaskets #7241 are designed for 1958–1965 Chevrolet 348/409 "W-Series" V8 engines and feature a high-density EnCore HTX-900 fiber/metal core composite. Graphite-coated, heat-resistant outer sheets are fused to an expanded steel core to provide heat resistance, load retention and a free-flowing seal; port size is approximately 1.813" x 1.75" and the design allows gasket recovery if header torque is lost.
