Edelbrock exhaust gaskets #7239 for AMC V8 engines are designed for 1967–1969 290–390 and 1970–1991 290–401 applications and feature an EnCore HTX-900 fiber/metal core composite construction. The material provides high heat resistance, excellent load retention and a 50% recovery rate that allows for expansion if header bolt torque is lost. These gaskets are profiled for correct port sealing and long-term exhaust service.
