The Cometic AFM ignition cover gasket for 2006-2017 Yamaha YZF-R6 is a .018-inch gasket built to seal the ignition/cover area while coping with higher cylinder pressures. AFM uses a chemically blown nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core and is made in the USA. The material recovers about 85%, withstands temperatures over 205°F, and normally does not require sealant or re-torquing.
