The Cometic AFM generator cover gasket for 2006-2008 Kawasaki KX450F uses a .032-inch AFM profile to seal the generator/alternator cover area and help preserve sealing under increased clamp loads. AFM is a chemically blown nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core, made in the USA. It recovers around 85%, resists temperatures above 205°F, and generally needs no sealant or re-torquing.
