The Cometic AFM oil pan gasket kit for Chevrolet Gen-1 Small Block V8 is supplied in .075" thickness and includes provisions for a left-side dipstick plus varied front seals. AFM combines a chemically blown nitrile rubber bonded to an aluminum core for temperature resistance above 205°F and about 85% recovery with strong torque retention. The material provides excellent sealing between oil pan and block without sealants or re-torquing.
