The Cometic AFM timing cover gasket for Jaguar XK6 (1954–1969; .016in) seals the timing cover to the block with a durable aluminum-bonded nitrile foam material. AFM provides excellent torque retention, about 85% recovery, and temperature resistance over 205°F. It creates a reliable seal without the need for additional sealants or re-torquing, suited to classic engine maintenance and rebuilds.
