Edelbrock valley cover plate (PN 7788) for 1997–2004 GM LS1/LS6 Gen III engines is intended for carburetor conversions and omits the OEM knock sensor bosses. The casting includes a breather boss that can be drilled and tapped if retaining stock LS-6 breather configuration, and it is offered in natural aluminum finish. Not compatible with LS2, LS7, LSX or other Gen IV engines.
