The Edelbrock Performer RPM camshaft for Pontiac 350–455 V‑8 applications is a hydraulic flat‑tappet cam and lifter kit tuned for street‑oriented high‑rpm power from about 1,500 to 6,500 rpm. Dyno testing with Edelbrock intake and heads produced 422 hp and 441 ft‑lbs on a 455 while keeping usable low‑end torque and about 10–12 in. of idle vacuum. Hydraulic lifters are included and the cam is matched to Performer RPM manifolds for improved top‑end horsepower without losing daily‑drive throttle response.
