The Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder camshaft #2218 is developed for LS1/LS6 Gen III Chevy engines from 1997–2004 to boost low‑end and mid‑range torque while remaining smooth at idle. Matched to Performer manifolds for operation from off‑idle to about 5,500 rpm, it improves throttle response and torque. Cams include flat tappet lifters (unless specified for roller use), assembly lube and instructions; this unit requires a high‑stall torque converter and will not work with stock valve springs.
