The COMP Cams camshaft kit is a compact package that includes camshaft, lifters, timing chain set, assembly lube, decals and instructions. Targeted at mild daily-driven street machines, it offers a broad powerband with a slightly rough idle; for 290–304 applications it favors lower gears to maximize throttle response and drivability.
