This COMP Cams Thumpr complete camshaft kit is a retrofit hydraulic roller package for Oldsmobile small-block engines (260–455). The K-KIT includes camshaft, lifters, valve springs, retainers, locks, valve stem seals, timing chain set, assembly lube (flat tappet apps), decals and instructions. Intended for high-performance street/strip use, it requires 9:1 compression, a 2500+ RPM stall torque converter and supporting intake, gears and headers, and yields a pronounced, rough idle.
