The COMP Cams FW 280H hydraulic roller cam is tuned for street-machine use with limited high-performance street capability. It performs best with a five-speed transmission or a 2200–2500 rpm stall converter, 3.40–4.10 rear gears and aftermarket intake and headers. This cam produces stronger upper-range power while keeping acceptable street manners.
