The COMP Cams hydraulic camshaft for Chrysler big-blocks is tuned for strong mid/high-range power in 383 and 440 engines. Intended for 9:1–10:1 compression, it works best with a 700–800 CFM carburetor, headers and 3.91+ gears. Recommended stall speeds: about 2500 for a 383 and 2000+ for a 440; install and tune the torque converter and carb to match.
