The COMP Cams CS 304A-R6 camshaft is a .900" base-circle grind tailored for very large late-model engines and long-track competition. It is intended for big-inch combinations where broader power delivery and breathing are prioritized. As with other COMP Cams items, 1955–1957 small-block Chevrolets that have a rear journal oiling groove will need a specific camshaft variant to fit properly.
