The COMP Cams CS 300B-R6 camshaft is a high-rpm small-block Chevy profile that benefits from a 4500+ stall converter and higher compression (around 11:1), often paired with lower gear ratios for race applications. It targets aggressive power delivery for track use. Note: 1955–57 SBCs with a rear-journal oiling groove will not accept these part numbers. Distributor gears require melanized or nitrided treatment to remain compatible and protect warranty coverage.
