The COMP Cams CS 291Tkn-R8 camshaft is a small-block Chevrolet race cam with a .900 base circle that delivers strong bottom-end torque for 415–430 ci applications, ideal for short tacky tracks. Note: 1955–57 SBCs with a rear-journal oiling groove require a different cam; these part numbers will not fit those engines. Use only melanized or nitrided distributor gears—cast or untreated steel gears are incompatible and may void warranties or returns.
