The COMP Cams CS-317E-R6 camshaft features a .900" base circle and is intended for large-displacement small-blocks (355+ ci) with ported heads in light cars, combined with 5,500+ stall converters. It targets high-rpm power and aggressive applications where the larger base circle and cam geometry support elevated performance. This cam will not fit 1955–1957 SBCs with a rear-journal oiling groove; contact support for the grooved version.
