The COMP Cams CS 286Xo-6 camshaft is designed for 1/4–3/8 mile fast-track oval racing on 327–358 cubic-inch engines with 12:1+ compression using a four-barrel carburetor and good intake and exhaust. It targets high-compression short-track builds needing robust valve events. Note: 1955–1957 small-block Chevrolets with a rear-journal oiling groove require a groove-style cam and are not compatible with this listed part.
