The COMP Cams CS 282Xos-6 camshaft is intended for tight 1/4–3/8 mile oval tracks and matches 327–358 cubic-inch engines with 12:1+ compression using a four-barrel carburetor and good intake and exhaust. It is specified for high-compression short-track setups that need stronger valve events. Note: 1955–1957 small-block Chevrolets with a rear-journal oiling groove require a groove-style cam and are not compatible with this listed part.
