The COMP Cams CS 278Xo-6 camshaft is intended for tight 1/4–3/8 mile oval tracks and matches 327–358 cubic-inch small-block engines with 11:1+ compression using a two-barrel carburetor and good intake and exhaust. It provides a cam profile tuned for short-track response and power delivery. Note: 1955–1957 small-block Chevrolets with a rear-journal oiling groove are not compatible with this listed part and require a groove-style cam.
