The COMP Cams CS 288TLS-6 camshaft fits 350–400 ci engines and is targeted at big 3/8 to 1/2 mile tracks where high RPM is sustained. Recommended setup notes include 11:1 compression, a 4800+ stall converter and open-rule large displacement engines with good heads and intake. The cam is best used in race configurations where high-RPM stability and power are priorities.
