The COMP Cams CB XM 298H-12 camshaft is a high-compression race-oriented profile suited to jetting with a B impeller and 10:1+ compression. Intended for river drags and bracket racing, it favors aggressive setups and high-rpm use. Note: some 1965–66 396 c.i.d. BBC engines have an oiling groove in the rear journal; the listed part-numbered cams will not fit those motors—contact customer service for the correct groove-style cam.
