The COMP Cams CB XM 288H-12 camshaft is a CB-series performance cam that prefers higher compression and upgraded induction and exhaust. It calls for 9.5:1+ compression, headers and intake improvements to deliver its intended power. Note: some 1965–66 396 c.i.d. BBC engines have an oiling groove in the rear journal; the listed part-numbered cams will not fit those motors—contact customer service for the correct groove-style cam.
