The COMP Cams CB XM 278H-12 camshaft is a CB-series performance cam intended to improve midrange response when paired with better intake flow and headers. It prefers a jet with an A impeller and benefits from intake and exhaust upgrades. Note: some 1965–66 396 c.i.d. BBC engines have an oiling groove in the rear journal; listed part-numbered cams will not fit those motors—contact customer service for the correct groove-style cam.
